My Journey into photography wouldn’t be too dissimilar to most. What started as a passion quickly turned into an obsession. I can’t pin point what exactly drew me to the camera but I can definitely explain why I can’t put it down.

The idea of capturing a moment in time is something that has intrigued me going on three years now. It’s strange, if you show me any one of the thousands of photos I have taken, I could tell you all the details about the day, who I was with and why I snapped that particular photo.

Where I live is also a big factor as to why I always pick up my camera. Queenstown, located in the South Island of New Zealand, is widely known as the adventure capital of the world. It is surrounded by mountains and lakes, which makes it very hard to take a single step without seeing a different landscape to frame up.

But most of the time when I’m taking photos I am on a golf course. This is a good opportunity to apologize to my friends for always slowing the group down and asking them to hold their follow through for a touch longer. Working in the golf industry has given me opportunities I could never have dreamed of. Taking photos at some of the world's most renowned courses is still a wild concept to me. I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.
